Playing with Adam

Well, his images off of Flicker that is... I can get some real big close up on those hazel eyes...which I might of made more blue... and labeled it blue... whatever, he looks cute with them, don't judge me and my fandom!

The Rivals

Check out Adam's official resume'.   You will see The Rivals under New York credits.
Apparently it was a one night performance for Charity :Water.

I can't find any official info/photos of that performance but-

"I'm performing in a benefit production of Richard Brinsley Sheridan's classic "The Rivals" on Feb. 28th to benefit Charity: Water which provides clean and safe drinking water to developing nations. The performance will take place at The Medicine Show Theatre (549 W. 52nd St.) at 7:30 pm. "

This is NOT Adam, but from another production of the Rivals in CA. It shows the character Captain Jack which Adam plays. I'm excited imagining him in this type of outfit playing that type of character.

WHY ADAM have you not sent this info out to your fans on the mailing list from your official website. YOU need a fan club president to let the people know.  CURSES!

"Adam Jonas Segaller plays Lopakhin, the working-class man whose father served Lyubov Andreevna's family as a reviled, poverty-stricken peasant. Lopakhin is the emotional counterpoint to Lyubov, a deeply conflicted man who pretends all is fine while deep resentments and self-doubt roils beneath the surface."

Love For Adam Jonas Segaller

I've had a lot of blogs over the years. Parenting, birth politics, arts and crafts, gardening and NEVER have I gotten so much traffic as this blog. Adam Jonas Segaller is growing in popularity because he  has that certain something that people from many walks of life appreciate  He has the 'it' factor. Hey Hollywood, get with the program. I have already listed in past posts roles I would pay to see him in. I've connected with a few other fans on Tumbler and elsewhere too.

(picture is a new found one from Kit Marlowe)

I've found lots of little blips about his past work and I wish I could find images.... to no anvil.   Here they are, may look more at some point. NEW stuff would be great too ADAM!

http://paintedpeople.com/

"New Play   Philip Goodman's new play, IS THE VIGORISH ENOUGH? is about  a  young New York immigrant peddler who flees the city in1905 for a hectic life with carnival road shows in the rural American south among grifters and con men, fast women, freaks, roughnecks, and sharks "who'd steal the gold out of your teeth if you dozed off with your mouth open." He flourishes -- and he falls too.

His life reaches critical juncture on his honeymoon with a hometown woman, when ploys to get a new start in a carnival he was once forced out of, risks it all in a gamble for high stakes, is involved in a murder and a mugging, is warmed by an old flame, and must decide the course and shape of his life forever. The play is funny, surprising, touching,  and takes us into the sleazy carnival world of a hundred years ago that in many ways has become the loose, unsteady way of life in the whole world today.
In the cast at a reading at The Actors Strudio were Kevin Stapleton, Antoinette LaVecchia, Sayra Player, Con Horgan, Adam Jonas Segaller, Nelson Avidon, Gary Swanson, and Jeremy Johnson.  "

"Goodman is a member of the Playwrights and Directors Unit at The Actors Studio. His new play in development, Is The Vigorish Enough? was seen there in a staged reading last year."

THE SCHEDULE

2 p.m.  SHOWCASE READINGS of the following new plays:

  • HERCULE DE BERGERAC by Adam Jonas Segaller, directed by Lee Liebeskind
  • LULLABYE by Kristen DeWulf, directed by Andy Wassenich...

http://artcorrupted.blogspot.com/
Bazelgate & Croxen written by Brian Pracht and directed once again by Stephanie Staes, was one of the most physically active of the pieces and certainly one of the shortest. Adam Jonas Segaller and Martin Ewens is a mix of farce and sketch comedy. The pace was quick, the delivery pitch perfect, and I don't think it could have been acted any better by any other actors.

Six Degrees of Adam Jonas Segaller

While looking around to try to find a photo of Adam from The Receptionist (2009) I found this site- http://www.abouttheartists.com/artists/265294-adam-jonas-segaller which has an unusual aspect.

and then I find this photo about 'The Winter's Tale'... labeled as him.... is it really?
hmmmm??
His resume says Autolycus, alright.
Must find more images!

Theatre Adam as Einstein

I do wish i could see him perform live at a DC Theatre Production. He Lives and works there. I live in a suburb about an hour a way so it isn't unthinkable that I could make it to a show, even with three young children.

I have had no luck finding if he is in anything this spring.

There are old reviews like a mention about his performance as Einstein. From 2011
Other Outstanding Performances .....Adam Jonas Segaller, Einstein, Einstein’s Dreams

There is a full review here - http://dctheatrescene.com/2011/06/07/einsteins-dreams/

Men

Extreme Close Up

Finally I realized that I can get a high enough quality picture from his flicker head shots to get a good twinkly eye image.

Overall this image looks rather stern from him. The polo reminds me of a uniform for a pool boy at a country club....worn with little khaki shorts. Perhaps even a tennis ball boy. That world is not my thing of course so that outfit and body language is not my 'best of Adam' look.

His facial hair is a little longer and a little more unkempt though.... and that I like. I imagine him as an immigrant in a Little House on a Prairie type movie. His performance would provide emotional resonance....  Someone write a screenplay, produce it and hire him. Make sure you provide a sexy scene .. a shirtless working in the fields and swimming nude in the river. Also a grief filled emotional monologue with overall quality of dialogue, character development, art direction and great direction. Yes Please.

Close up here you go-

Proper Ode to Adam Slideshow

With my injury (broken wrist ) I can do very little creation...except on the computer. I made this collection of Adam images with Franz Ferdinand's 'Take Me Out'.

Adam Wish List

I hunger for Adam as an English lord, a colonial father, a man stranded on an island shirtless and emotionally haggard like Crusoe.  I want to see him as a romantic lead in a historical movie. I (giggle) want to see him in renaissance wear...in tights and a cod piece.

Until then here are some shots from the past-

Guessing About Adam

He has a Pinterest page ....yes i follow him.   Go take a look- http://pinterest.com/segaller/

Sometimes people re-pin and don't make a new comment... sometimes they don't.   So he MAY have a dog named Callie.
Perhaps a significant other named Amy?
